Here comes stubble! First look at Ben Affleck without his lucky Argo beard

It's the picture that everyone wanted.
Ben Affleck, 40, shaved his lucky beard off on Sunday night after Argo - the hit movie he directed - won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
But since then, Ben's proved to be elusive... perhaps keeping his head down to recover from the oodles of champagne drunk to toast his amazing success.

He wasn't even spotted at his habitual haunt, the Brentwood Country Mart, for days.
Ben and wife Jennifer Garner, also 40, are always at the upscale eaterie with their two daughters Violet, seven, and Seraphina, four, and sometimes one-year-old son, Samuel.
But on Sunday night, with the children in bed, it was just Jen and Ben's night.

They headed out to celebrate the film's win with the high-powered team behind the project.
And having won the accolade of the night at the 2013 Oscars on Sunday, Ben Affleck opted to celebrate his win by shaving off his beard.
The director parted ways with his facial hair as he marked 'the end of a chapter' at George Clooney's after-party held at Craig's restaurant in West Hollywood.

According to various reports, Ben pulled out the clippers just hours after he accepted the gold statue for Best Picture at the 85th Academy Awards.
Joined at the party by Argo's co-producers Grant Heslov and Clooney, as well as co-star Bryan Cranston, Affleck apparently shaved his face in hallway outside a bathroom.
It was also alleged that a few people who stood watch as Ben got a trim even joined in to help.
Speaking to E! News, a source revealed that the father-of-three decided to get rid of the beard as a toast to new beginnings.
The insider said: 'He did it to mark the end of a chapter. It had that ceremonial quality to it.'

Prior to his clean shave, as he accepted the Oscar for Best Picture on Sunday night Affleck acknowledged the fact that a good marriage takes effort from both sides.
Ben's voice cracked as he thanked his wife, and the mother of his children, Jennifer Garner for 'working' on their marriage.
His emotion showed as he gushed: 'I want to thank my wife ... for working on our marriage for 10 Christmases. It is work, but it's the best kind of work. And there's no one I'd rather work with.

'I was here 15 years ago or something, and had no idea what I was doing. I stood out here in front of you all, really just a kid and I went out and I never thought I'd be back here. And I am.
He added: 'Because of so many of you that are here tonight. Because of the Academy. Because of so many wonderful people who extended themselves to me when they had nothing to benefit from it.'
Affleck also thanked his children, dedicating his award to them.
Quoting Rocky, he added: 'It doesn't matter how you get knocked down in life, because that's going to happen. All that matters is that you got to get up.
And on a closing note, he said:'Violet, Sera and Sam, I love you. This is for you.'
