Single girl Ashlee Simpson hits town in a little red dress as her ex-husband's girlfriend Meagan looks after her son Bronx

Following her recent split from boyfriend Vincent Piazza, Ashlee Simpson has been spending a lot of time with her girlfriends.
And as the singer/actress enjoyed a girlie night out in Hollywood on Thursday, it was her ex-husband's girlfriend Meagan Camper who was spending the day caring for their son.
Ashlee, 28, and her musician ex-husband Pete Wentz, 33, share custody of their four-year-old son Bronx following their divorce two years ago.

However, it appears Pete's model girlfriend Meagan is very comfortable in the role of step-mother as she spent Thursday hanging out with the cute little boy in Brentwood.
While Meagan, Bronx and their dog were spotted going to Bow Wow Bangalow Doggie Day Care, former Fall Out Boy bassist Pete was across town shopping in All Saints.
On Thursday night, Ashlee and some girlfriends attended the Svedka vodka Valentine's Day Throwback '90s party at Pink Taco Mexican restaurant.

She certainly looked the part in a sexy little red dress with sheer panelling, which she teamed with a pair of animal-print slingback Christian Louboutins and a black fur coat.
During the evening, she tweeted: 'Loving the #tbt performances with my girls @SimpleeKatyLee @nataliesaidi @svedka #TBVDay.'
Ashlee has been single since ending her 18 month romance with Boardwalk Empire actor Vincent Piazza in November.

Over Christmas, she joined her pregnant sister Jessica, fiance Eric Johnson and their daughter Maxwell in Hawaii.
The singer/actress was three months pregnant with Bronx when the couple wed in May 2008, with their son arriving six months later.
However, after less than three years of marriage, Ashlee and Pete split in February 2011 before divorcing nine months later.

However, the pair have remained close friends as they continue to co-parent their son.
Meanwhile, the pretty blonde is also working on making a musical comeback and is releasing single Bat For A Heart, her first new music in four years.
She's also set to return to the big screen with a part in Pawn Shop Chronicles, which also stars Elijah Wood and Matt Dillon and Paul Walker.
